The whole story

It starts in Kingston, Jamaica.

The idea was simple. Be the first to bring a video streaming app with a focus on local sports to the Caribbean. All I had to do was acquire the local streaming rights then launch and manage the platform. I said “how hard could that be” and jumped all-in.

I quit my job and invested my savings. I was terrified of failing so I planned every step.

It was a disaster.

People couldn’t use our payment system, the streams crashed, nothing went the way I expected. It took me 4 months of trial and error to build a small tribe of people to trust and subscribe to us.

Fast forward 2 years and a lot of testing. I had built the largest sports audience in the market, outperformed legacy television providers with the same content, and then sold the company.
